Glitter

Text:

Sometimes, your hair catches the light
and your whole head is wreathed in a halo of golden fire.

And even when the light is gone, it seems to stay, lingering in the fading glow of the sunset.

If I ran my fingers through your hair, would they come away gold as well?
Would it stick around like glitter, persisting in the strangest places
and months after I have forgotten about it-

Will I look in the mirror to see a golden speck on my cheek?
